A great idea having an english speaking message board in which some choose to avoid using the language, preferring "text speak ", whatever that is.

For those who use this form of communication it is (to my mind) marginally better than chimps grunting at each other in a zoo. But only just! Please desist this practice or I may have to reconsider my membership.

I would have thought a personal (non-automated) "welcome message" would have been a better first point of contact with new members. Sort of friendlier and more kind of ...well welcoming.

I don't know what sort of timeframe it takes to implement a biking smiley, but it would appear to me that building an actual bike could have been done in a shorter timeframe..

Apart from that congratulations on the new board and I look forward to revisiting and seeing a diverse range of opinions and views allowed on here.
